Javon Bowler '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Javon Bowler and I am a champion! A champion on the field and off. Playing football for Tulsa Union, as a starting CB and RB. Every year our team came up with a slogans that were an inspiration to us as we pursued our goal of another 6A championship which we accomplished this past year.  My personal goal is to attend college and use this experience as a way to reach goals and make a positive imprint on others.  I was elected to Student Council this past year.  I also participate in Redskin Aid, which is a community involvement program for our team. Some of the activities we participate in is helping the younger students in our school district. 

I would like to pursue a degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice in order to help that segment in our society that no one notices.  I prefer to attend a campus that has small town flavor, but is near the city and would have mentors available to give perspectives on college life.
