Alex Toureen '11 Recruiting Profile

Alex Toureen from Cottage Grove High School. I am 6'0 180lbs and still growing, my father and grandfather both stand roughly 6'4. My accolades are: All League WR, CB and Return Specialist. I am the top WR in 4A and a big candidate for 4A Player of the Year. This year I am also being put at Kicker. As hard as I have been working this off season I've set my goals high. I hope for 4 All League awards and 2 All State awards. I live with my Grandmother and Grandfather, we are struggling financially, sports and academics are what I am relying on to go to college and that gives me the extra push to devote all of my time to what is important. I will be the first person in my family to go to college and will do so with a 3.96 GPA. I feel that my quickness, understanding of football, and desire to play at a higher level of football are my strengths. I spend my weekends on the football field working alone on the little things a good receiver should do by instinct. I want football to be my life so I'm giving it my all to play college football. My goals and sights are on D1 and D2 schools, but whatever happens I will play college football at any level.
