Mason Laird '14 Recruiting Profile

Ever since the first day I learned about college football I knew that I wanted to play on that next level. Now that I am a senior in high school, I will do anything to make this dream a reality. I have played football every year since my fourth grade. I have played four years of high school football, three years of those four were at the varsity level. My freshmen year I played middle linebacker and running back. My sophomore year I played multiple spots on defense, played on all the special teams, and was a full-back. My junior year I played middle linebacker and running back. My junior year I was awarded defensive MVP for the Far-West Leauge, First-Team All-League Middle linebacker, and honorable mention running back. I was also awarded First-Team All-State middle linebacker. My senior year I have played running back, right tackle, and middle linebacker. This year I got Defensive MVP for the second time, 1st team all leauge middle linebacker and Runninback. My goal is to go to college to do pre-med school and then on to medical school to become an oncologist.
