Personal Statement
I’ve been playing football since I was in the third grade. Since that first year I always knew that long snapping was something I wanted to do. I have been the starting long snapper every year since then and have snapped countless snaps, some of them to win games. I am always working to get better and have attended a few of Chris Rubio's Long Snapping camps. As well as getting better at what I do, I also strive to do the best I can in school. I have a 3.7/4.0 GPA and am interested in studying Criminal Justice in college. I am not only a long snapper but am a very versatile football player. In addition to being a long snapper, I play both sides of the line. My junior year I started on varsity at all of the offensive line positions (except tight end), and as a defensive tackle throughout the season, helping my team make it to a State Championship Game. As a senior I am starting center and defensive tackle. I play lacrosse as well as football and have been on the varsity lacrosse team since my sophomore year. My ultimate goal is to play football in college and will do anything to make that come true. I am a coachable, hard-working lineman with the special skills of an excellent long snapper and would be a great asset to your team.
