Mikey Gibson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikey Gibson and I am a junior at Canby High School. I am a three-sport athlete, but for my whole life I have dreamed of playing football at the collegiate and professional level.  I started off playing on the line in youth football, then moved to running back and line backer. Freshman year I decided to try the quarterback position and quickly fell in love with it, and realized it was where I belong. Although I am newer to the position, I feel like my experience playing different positions has given me a really good concept of the game and eye for the field. I have a lot to learn but am committed to always giving 110%.  I believe that having strong character on and off of the field is what makes a good leader, and that without my teammates, success is simply not possible.
