Jaxon Clark '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaxon Clark and I'm a Kicker/Punter for Grants Pass High School in Grants Pass Oregon.  My freshman-junior year I kicked for West Springfield High School in Springfield, VA.  . I am 5'8" and 155 lbs and run a 4.59 40 yard dash.  I want to be the best student athlete that I can be and want to compete for a college or university that will help me to grow both in and out of the classroom.

This year I earned the following honors:

2nd team all-state Punter and honorable mention  All-state kicker. 1st Team All-League Kicker, 1st Team All-League Punter, 

my Junior year I received,

1st Team All-Conference Kicker, 1st Team All-Conference Punter, 2nd Team All-Region Kicker, Honorable Mention All-Region Punter, Virginia 6A All-State Underclassmen Kicker of the Year. In addition, my game winning kick against a highly ranked team and rival was voted the "Washington Post Play of the Year." (The video is posted in my profile)

I am one of the hardest workers that you will ever meet. Also, I thrive under pressure and know how important that every single kick is.  I will do anything that I can to support and help my team to be successful.  I am a Chris Sailer recruit ranked in both Kicking and Punting and attend many camps regularly. I have already made the transition to kicking off of the ground.

Off of the field I love to travel with my family and volunteer at my church. I helped start our school's FCA huddle group that now has more than 50 participants. I know the value of hard work and doing what it takes to get better.
