Regan Henshaw '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Regan Henshaw, I’m currently in my senior year at high school.

I know I will be a good fit for your program, not only for team but for the college as a whole, as I strive to be as good as I can be both academically and as a leader.

I am able to adapt to any situation as proven by move to the USA from the UK four years ago when I was 12 years of age. Coming to a new country  and attending a new school , making new friends  and adapting to a new way of schooling  was a challenge but I embraced it and now achieving excellent grades.

I have strong  engagement and communication skills and a good influence on my peers,. I’m a team player I enjoy supporting my peers whilst developing as players and as people.

From a football perspective I'm a kicking prospect and I'm wanting to take my footballing journey as far as I can take it.  

For the past 12 months  I have taken up soccer coaching, first voluntary and then through the local club. I coach two  junior teams both girls and boys, this is my passion and the feedback I have received from follow coaches, parents and assessors has been outstanding. Watching the younger kids develop and seeing your coaching sessions come to life in games  and seeing the children enjoy the game as much as I do is fantastic.
