Personal Statement
I am a 6'1" 280 pound seventeen year old center, guard, defensive tackle and nose guard from Southmoreland High School in Alverton, PA. I am currently in my senior year of high school football. I was voted a team captain my sophomore, junior and now my senior year by my coaches and teammates. I try to lead by example in the weight room, off season workouts, GREAT practice habits and during battles on Friday nights. I always try and keep everyone's head up even when things are tough. I give 110% in practice and on game days. I try and play every play like it could be my last. I am the first one on the field and the last one to leave the field. I have a 3.25 GPA and work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I am involved with the men's group at my church and really enjoy giving back to the community whether it be visiting with the elderly or reading to my little buddies at our elementary school. I am also currently coaching one of our youth football teams. It has been a great experience for me. We just recently qualified for the playoffs. My Saturdays are usually spent watching the "greatest game on earth" college football. My dreams are to be playing on Saturdays in front of thousands of fans while continuing my education at a great college institution.
