Will Gradisek '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Gradisek and I am a senior at Conestoga High School.  Conestoga is a nationally ranked high school and has been recognized in numerous publications for its  excellence.  I am a current member of the National Honor Society.  My GPA is 3.94 unweighted and 4.84 weighted.  I am currently taking a full course load of Honors and AP classes.  My full academic record and test scores can be found on my profile page.  I play TE, LB, and DE.  I have played TE for 3 years.  I am currently playing DE but previously I played outside linebacker.  I made the move to DE to be able to fill a need for our defense and to help my team overall.  I have dedicated myself to training and preparing myself to play for the last 3 years.  I have significantly increased my size, strength, and speed through hard work and focused training.  However, I believe that I can continue to improve in all of these areas.  I have also followed a disciplined approach to academics which has allowed me to balance my football and academics.  I previously played basketball but did not play my junior year to focus on football.  I plan to attend a college or university that has a reputation for both academics and athletics.  It is very important to me to be in an environment that will allow me to achieve excellence in both.  I am confident that dedication to both my academics and athletics will translate into success at the collegiate level.
