2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My goal is to pursue my academic and athletic pursuits at the next level. Why? I enjoy the challenges of both. I like having to plan my day so I can continue to be successful in both my studies and as a two sport athlete. What makes me a good candidate is that I am always striving to be a better person, student, and teammate. I genuinely enjoy learning and I understand the day the teachers and coaches do not continue to push me is the day they have given up on me because I stopped pushing myself. What makes me different? I have a unique blend of being of good character as well as being intelligent and athletic. My parents have taught me many lessons. Working hard and being an honest person are very important in our family. I have had to battle for every position. Once I make a team, I work even harder to earn my playing time and the starting position. Then I work harder to keep that position.
