Zackery Mehring '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Zac Mehring and I am a student at South Western High School. I love football so much that I have been playing it since I was 4-5 years old. This is my 14th year playing, so I would say that I have some experience to my plate more than others. I will give 110% every time I am on the field to show you that I deserve to play on the college team and the position that they gave me. I have very good sportsmanship. I will not trash talk at all because that can cause problems and I will help the other team up to show them that they did a good job and i respect them as a person and a player. I am a leader on our football team. I have been a leader in football since I started playing at 4-5 years old. I will always help our team to get better and stronger. I will push my team mates until they can't do that exercise or drill any more to make them better. I lead the team on defence and call the plays and make adjustments that I see in the offence to make our defence work to shut the offences run and pass game down. I am a very emotional person when it comes to football, like caring for my brothers on the field and making them better. This year in my season I had 1 punt return for touchdown, 11 rushing touchdowns, and 6 sacks. I am also a very good student inside the classroom. I try my best and study for my tests and push to have the best grades I can. I want to go to college for Nursing and go into the medical field just like my family.
