I am a very hard working person. When I'm not in school I'm either in the weight room, at some other sport, or working at my job. What I've improved on through my job is responsibility, ability to follow directions, teamwork and work ethic. Other activities I enjoy are hunting and fishing, which help me improve upon my patience. Not just in the weight room or on the field do I strive to be the best, but I also strive to do my best in school. With that being said I have a 3.5 GPA out of 4.0 and I'm in advanced English, math, and science. I have been playing football for 8 years and have a great knowledge about the game. Last year I was on the junior varsity football team as a starting outside linebacker and I also started 3 games as running back. I had one receiving touchdown and 150 yards rushing. On the defensive side I had 54 tackles 3 forced fumbles 2 sacks and 1 interception. I am currently playing safety and still at running back. In the weight room I train every day for 2 hours. I bench 205, squat 325, and powerclean 165. The latest 40 yard dash I've done was July 2013 and my time was 4.9 seconds. Why I'm a good candidate is my work ethic, physical abilities, and my knowledge about the sport.
