Personal Statement

I am currently a senior at Cumberland Valley High School.  I am a two-way starter at fullback and linebacker, as well as, a long snapper at a powerful 4-A football program in Pennsylvania.  Heading into the season I was voted captain by my teammates and coaches which is a huge honor.  After starting my previous two seasons, I took it as a challenge upon myself to lead this team both on and off the field.

Our team has had a very successful season and we are not done yet!  We ended our regular season 8-2 and are Mid Penn Commonwealth Division Champions.  Currently we sit at 11-3 and have advanced to the PA State Quarter Finals in AAAA .  Our success, has really helped me to standout as a player.  From my fullback position I have produced more then 1120 yards of total offense and 28 TD's .  This ranks me in the top 3 in the state of PA in scoring (Maxpreps).  Defensively, I have recorded 153 tackles.  These results rank me number 1 in state for tackles. (Maxpreps).  Each week I work to improve my game and I'm excited to progress as a team player throughout the rest of the season.

Since I began playing football at age 6, it has always been a dream of mine to attend college and have an opportunity to play college football.  Continuing my education is a top priority and I pride myself in being a determined and hard working student athlete.  I train year round 6 days a week - 3 days a week for speed and agility and 3 days a week weight training.  I realize the only way I can make my dream a reality is to continue to push myself, out train my competition and be the best athlete I can be, so when the season rolls around I will be at the top of my game.
