Michael Lewis '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Lewis and I am a Senior at Palmyra High School in Palmyra, PA.  I am the quarterback and punter, and I am also a second year captain.  I have an intense desire to play football at the collegiate level, while also excelling academically.  I have recently been selected to the East Coast Elite Top 25 Quarterbacks for the class of 2015. Additionally, I am the quarterback for a 7on7 team called the PA Swag Sharks. In addition to football, I am also a pitcher and first baseman for my high school Varsity baseball team. I feel I have many strengths to offer a collegiate team, such as my ability to think under pressure, read defenses, strong work ethic and ability to lead. I spend the 8 months of the off-season training hard. I work with Dave Brixius at Explosive Sports Performance on speed, strength and conditioning. I spend most Saturdays and Sundays with Coach Jim Cantafio of SVS Elite whose specialty is training elite quarterbacks. Overall, I feel that I have the dedication and work ethic to succeed at the next level.

My goal is to play quarterback at the highest collegiate level possible. I want it, I have always wanted it, I eat and sleep it, I work harder than everyone, I know I can do it, I will do it, I will never quit until I achieve it.
