My name is Andrew Gummo and I am currently a senior at Warrior Run High School in Turbotville, PA. I received the Player of the Year Award for the 2013 season from my coaching staff. I have also been named second team in the PHAC Football All-Star Selections for the 2013 season. I have also been chosen as part of the Standard Journal all area football team. I led the team in tackles for the 2013 season. I also had 3 touchdowns on offense after the coaches moved me to tight end in the sixth game. I also had a safety, 4 knocked down passes, 5 solo QB sacks, and 3 forced fumbles in 2013. I have rotated in at fullback, tightend, tailback and outside linebacker since my freshman year. I started at offensive guard and outside linebacker my junior year. I started at outside linebacker and offensive guard my senior year for 6 games. Thereafter, I started at outside linebacker and started at tight end/running back for the remainder of the season. I am 6'1" tall and weigh 190 lbs. I have a 3.4 - 3.5 GPA and have taken honors courses throughout high school. My goals are to achieve the best grades possible in my education and to play college football. I am very dedicated to being successful in my education and playing football. I am determined to work harder to get bigger, faster and stronger to help my team. I want to continue to be a leader in everything I do and I am confident that I will make a positive impact both as a teammate and a student. Please see the updated video from my senior year for your reference. I would appreciate any information you can provide to help me achieve my goals.
