My name is David Velazquez, I am currently a Junior WR at William Allen High School in Allentown Pennsylvania. I have one huge task, and that is to be the most help I can be for my team and my peers around me. Leading has always been a key part of my life and I carry that out on the football field. For college I aim to major Forensic Chemistry, and attend a good football program. I also would like a chance to leave the state and experience a different walk of life!
My coaches play a big role in the man I am becoming. They taught me a lot throughout the three years I have played for them. I know for a fact, the knowledge they gave me will help on and off the field. Whether that's in the class room, socially, financially or even just in everyday life as a person.
Some things I've learned from my coaches is to keep fighting, no matter what the scoreboard says, if you played 100%; people will notice you. They have also taught me that brotherhood comes first, never leave a brother behind. Also I understand that the decisions I make in everyday life will effect me when my helmet is strapped up, or I'm walking on the sidewalk, thanks to my coaches. In other words if I make good decisions in life ill be fine on and off the field. Overall I believe they have made me a great football player and an even better young man!
