Personal Statement

I plan to attend college and study Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy.  I had a season ending injury at the beginning of football my junior year that kept me from playing, and had corrective surgery and physical therapy since last September.  This has given me a new insight as to what my passion in college is going to be.  I have seen so many kids injured, and want to be able to help them attain the same thing I am shooting for.  I have a serious love of the game, and have been training hard to be back at 100% for my Senior year, and will be released and back to training with the football team in January.  I have played football for 10 years, and have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level.  I am willing to consider all levels and opportunities, although my ultimate goal is to play Division I football.  I am currently an Honor Student and will continue to work hard at keeping a high GPA.  This, in addition to strength and agility training in the weight room with my team and outside of school as much as possible, continues to build my potential as a collegiate football player.  My best qualities as a person and a teammate are that I am humble and always focus on the goal ahead without straying from the path.  I consider myself a great athlete, and am driven to succeed both on the field and off.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
