Personal Statement
My collegiate goal is to major in Exercise Science, contribute to my college/university and community, and represent my institution and team in a positive manner. I believe in the sound mind and sound body concept so I want to help others return to normal physical activity. I also believe giving back and assisting the less fortunate is critical in bridging gaps in our society.
I have been playing tackle football since I was five years old and it is my passion. My dad is in the Army and we have lived in several different places throughout the country. This experience has made me resilient, well-rounded, and exposed me to people from all walks of life. I have played on many teams, made countless friends, and have had to learn a lot of different offensive and defensive play books. I have been the "new kid" many times and I have always had to earn my position. My strong work ethic and never give up attitude have contributed greatly to my success on and off of the field.
While football is my passion, I am just as deeply committed to my education. I am enrolled in all college preparatory classes and I take pride in my academic performance. I am well aware of the fact that I could be injured and unable to play football, but my education can never be taken from me.
