Personal Statement
Coach Rosko always says, "You do what you want to do". This is true. People work hard when they love what they do. I love football: on the field, from the sideline, while watching film, and on TV. FOOTBALL is what I want to do. It is what I do.
As a teammate, I follow my favorite quote from Marcus Aurelius. My favorite quote is "I do what is expected of me and let nothing get in my way- neither the inanimate nor the irrational, nor the hopelessly lost". This is me. Rankings don't phase me. The scoreboard does not phase me. I do what my team needs me to do, and I do it well. It is all that counts.
What makes me different: I have very diverse interests, ORCHESTRA and CHINESE. Orchestra: I have been playing the string bass for over ten years. I have played with an orchestra group for more than 7 years. I currently play for the Philadelphia Sinfornia. I previously played with the Delaware Youth Symphony Orchestra. Chinese: I have been taking Chinese for over five years. I speak beginner Chinese.
Thank you. I look forward to meeting you.
