Nathaniel Shaeffer '19 Recruiting Profile

I have many goals in life, but one I want to complete the most is to become the first one in my family to go to college, and complete it. Another one of my goals is to play football at the college level, and it has been since I was 5, when I first started football. My experience with the game is different than other recruits, and has helped me throughout my years of football, and will continue to help at the collegiate level. I've always been a leader at school, with friends, and especially in sports. I've been chosen as team captain many times in my 10+ years of football, which I think shows I am a good leader. Academically I've always stood out, carrying a 4+ GPA all my high school career,  which proves that I'm willing to work harder to keep good grades. I would be a great fit for most teams because of my leadership, knowledge of the game, and my ability to keep good grades so I won't affect my play and my team.
