Ben Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 5 years old and I have been punting for 7 years. Football is the thing I enjoy most in life. I am working hard at trying to make punting in college an option for me after high school. I have a new special teams coach this year who has given me the confidence to try and make my goal happen. I am a great teammate because I love the sport, I stay positive even when the game isn’t going our way, I am also very good at reading the play while on the field and I am a pretty quiet guy who doesn’t get drawn into drama. Our team hasn’t had a winning record in a long time but my teammates and I still enjoy playing the game. I would like to major in History and graduate from college with a bachelor’s degree.
