Personal Statement
I fell in love with the game of football ever since the day my dad signed me up when I was six years old. I train six days a week to be the best football player I can be. What separates me from most kids is first, my versatility as a student athlete, I am very well rounded and can compete with the best of them in the weight room, on the field and in the class room. This versatility allows me to play multiple positions like inside and outside linebacker and get a step ahead of the competition physically and mentally. When I just started playing football I wasn't very aggressive so my parents cut my hair into a Mohawk which symbolizes toughness I guess you could say. Not many people liked it but I did, it made me stand out and as I got older it became a part of who I am. I started getting more aggressive and to this day I still have a Mohawk, it gives me a confidence and competitive edge that I wouldn't have without it. My grandmother is my inspiration she is the reason I wear #7, something she always tells me is "be the most kind gentleman off the field, and on the field be whoever you need to be", I truly do live by that, I do community service throughout the summer helping out military veterans. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and solid SAT scores as well. When I go to college I wish to major in Physical Education along with a minor in Coaching, and eventually become a teacher and football coach. I am grateful to have the family, friends and opportunities that I do, I am truly blessed.
