Personal Statement
In the fall of 2013, I transferred from LaSalle College High School to Pope John Paul II High School. My goals are to be dynamic; always moving forward. I will continue to focus on my training, football and class work. I want to use all of my abilities to succeed as student athlete, so that I may earn a college scholarship.
I love the game of football. I will play in any position where my coach needs my talent and ability. My versatility has allowed me to play at CB, and I can be used as a RB/FB and WR beside QB. I'm not a six foot plus QB. But I am a duel threat QB. I can read defenses and make adjustments at the line, (when allowed), throw hard and accurate, and can throw accurately on the run. I have been in spread and read offenses.
Off the field, since 2014 I have been a "coach" for the Shooting Stars program run at our local YMCA. It is a special ability sports program for special needs children K through 21 years. I work part-time as a food prep / assistant server at a local family run restaurant. I am a two letter athlete. I am on the track team, throwing the javelin. I have been nominated and will receive the Philadelphia Union League Good Citizenship Award; a patriotic organization founded to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
Finally, I will continue helping those less fortunate than myself through local community service. I truly believe that it is a duty for all of us to help those in need; it is something that my parents instilled in me from an early age. The smiles that I put on faces, even if so briefly, makes me feel good and gives me a sense of fellowship.
