Elijah Matthews '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Elijah Matthews I am from providence Rhode Island. My height is 5'8 and I weigh 155 pounds and still growing. My primary position is slot receiver I also play corner back.  And a few other positions. I believe I have the talent and discipline and work ethic to play at these collegiate levels. I had  a bit of a rocky freshman year  I was hanging with the wrong crowd trying to be the guy that I'm not. But once I Realized the potential I had on the field and in school I turned things around and now I'm strictly doing school and football!.  And track during the off season.

I'm am 100% sure that I want to play at the next level. Everything about this sport means so much to me. I like making one cut and staying vertical or making a big big hit on the wide out. Playing in college  would be huge for me because it's one of my long term goals I`ve been working day in and day out for.
