Personal Statement
I am a 5'9 200 lb Running Back from Cranston, RI. I am the starting RB on my Division-1 team.
I feel I run the ball extremely physical and tough - gaining yards after contact nearly every carry.
From when I first started playing Pop Warner football at 6-years old, I have always loved this game. The teamwork it takes to win is something quite unique and that is very important to me. I look at playing football in a specific way that keeps me focused on the common goal of contributing in every game and for every single rep.
I am hoping to take both my academic achievements along with my athletic ability to play at the next level. I have a 3.80 GPA out of a possible 4.0 and I am ranked 27th out of a junior class of 225. My current SAT scores are 1,970 total. I was fortunate enough to make the Academic All League again this year for my commitment to academics during football.
With everything I do, I approach it with extreme dedication to hard work, mental and physical toughness, and a passion that I believe is second to none. In my mind, playing time is earned not given. My work ethic fuels me to never quit and always be looking for ways to get better.
I believe in no short cuts. I am hoping my football skills will allow the chance to better my education and help shape my future.
As a National Honor Society member - I take my studies seriously and plan to continue that while I work hard to make a difference for my team and all of my fellow teammates.
