My name is Darius Williams and I will graduate in May 2016 from Ashley Ridge High School in Summerville, SC.
I play on my high school football team and I am a dedicated, hard-working wide receiver and kick returner. I have also played the corner back position during my middle and high school football seasons. I have also attended many football camps and training programs at many colleges over the past 3 years. I played on B-Team (9th grade team) my 9th grade year, JV my 10th, both JV and Varsity during my 11th and finally as a senior varsity starter this year. I was the 2015 Sertoma Classic Roddy White recipient and also made the SC Region AAAA All-Region team. I worked extremely hard this season and finished with 57 receptions and 722 yards with a team record of 9-2.
I currently have a 3.0 GPA and I have pursued a college preparatory curriculum throughout high school. This has included taking some very challenging engineering courses. I also earned a certificate in the National Guard’s Engineering Program during my sophomore year. I’ve also attended a cyber security summer camp and learned many things about computers and engineering. However, I have decided to pursue Business/Sports Management as a degree major.
