Personal Statement

I am currently a Senior at Brandon Valley High School in Brandon, South Dakota. My Freshman year in High School I started for the Sophomore and JV team and was the back up on varsity. Prior to me playing Sophomore and JV, the team had acquired 4 wins in the past 2 years. When I started playing for them we went undefeated for JV and lost one game on Sophomore. My Sophomore year was the same we lost one game on Sophomore and went undefeated for JV and Varsity we finished 2nd in state. My junior year I made all conference in two different conferences and made all state. My life long goal is to play Major Division 1 football. Football has taught me many things including, leadership, and teamwork. I rise to every occasion when my team needs me. I play my best football when theres a lot of pressure.  I truly believe that I am capable of succeeding with a Major Division 1 football program. My first year of starting varsity football I led the state in touchdown passes and passing yards and was ranked the #1 quarterback in South Dakota. I finished my Junior season with 196 completions for 281 attempts, 69.7 completion percentage, 27 TD passes, 2,069 passing yards, and 552 rushing yards.
