Personal Statement
Ever since I was old enough to throw a ball, I knew that I wanted to play football. Because I want to play in college, I always work harder than everyone else on the field. My freshman year I showed my coach that I was good enough to play varsity, special teams and second string for offense. At the award ceremony my freshman year I earned the Scout Team Player of the Year Award. This award reflected that I would always work harder than everyone to show the coaches that I wanted to play. I also earned it by going up against seniors that were bigger, and I worked as hard as I could to beat them on every play. I am also a good student. I know that it is just as important if not more important to get your work done off the field too. I am fiercely dedicated to being an exceptional student athlete. After my Junior year I was rated in the top 10 power forwards for the state of South Dakota by Prep Hoops. I start on the Varsity baseball team as an outfielder. I love playing team sports and my team mates, but I am excited to dedicating all of my time in college to becoming the best football I can be!
