My name is Markel Bing and I am a LB for the class of 2017. I live in Aiken, South Carolina and I am a junior at Silver Bluff High School (SBHS). I have played football for SBHS for 2 years. I have 6 years’ experience playing football. I also enjoy playing baseball, but unfortunately football has taken over my heart. I have 6 years of experience with baseball. Each year I strive not only to become a better player, but a better teammate as well. Academics have always been very important to me; my GPA is 3.0/4.0 and my weighted GPA is 2.976. I am looking for a school with a high level football program and exceptional academics. I am never shy nor will ever run away from an opportunity or competition. My strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for the game will help me be an asset to any team. The reason I think I will be a good candidate is, because I never give up and I keep fighting for my goals even though I think they are impossible to reach, but that's the thing about me... I never know when to give up and I never knew how to give up. I'm a bright well-mannered and mature young man. I respect my elders and those above me, because I know they have been there and I have not yet. I keep striving for my goals, so that one day I could make my family and myself proud. I am different from everyone else, because I am not just a regular student I am a Christian and I am innovative. I attend in extracurricular activities outside of my school and also inside of my school. My college goals are to be the best of the best at whatever I do. I will try my hardest to be successful and come out of college with a degree and be the best all- around student at my school
