Personal Statement
My name is Trent Olson. I am a Senior from Madison High School, SD. I come from a family of hardworking people. My dad works two jobs and he's a member of my school's booster club and my mom, who is also a booster club member, works with great people all around in the credit industry and is very creative when it comes to sewing. I want to play at the next level because my parents went to college and, not to mention, my dad played college football for a while. Both of them have graduate degrees; my dad has an associate degree and my mom has a bachelor's degree. For me, I'm looking to study psychology when I go to college. Me personally, I like to watch movies, hang out with friends, read or write and lift in my free time. On the football field though, I have that great amount of work ethic that can outwork anyone. I'm always ready to be put on either side of the ball that will help my team win state championships. I'm an athlete that's coachable, reliable, dependable, and responsible for what I'm supposed to do. My teammates, on the other hand, I look out for them and they look out after me. We become groups of individuals that work together, work harder, and play smarter. And that's why I want to do college athletics because I know that it will make me a better athlete and a better person in general. I want to be a part of a team that shows the same intensity as my high school team.
