Christian LaBreche '17 Recruiting Profile

When entering eighth grade, my family relocated from Florida to Tennessee. When I found out the middle school had a football team I was thrilled.  Growing up, my size prevented me from playing Pop Warner football. Moving to Tennessee gave me the opportunity to play the game I love. It also gave me the opportunity to meet new friends and grow, as both a teammate and student. I learned a lot, in one year, under Coach Dennis Harrison, a former Vanderbilt and NFL defensive lineman. He recognized my desire to compete and excel. I started both ways and dominated.

Travel baseball and basketball prepared me in many ways and formed me into the athlete I am today. As a freshman in high school, I played football, basketball, and baseball. When forced to choose between spring football and baseball I hung up my spikes. I continue to play basketball for the love of the game and to stay in shape during the winter. I am training and competing to prepare me for my ultimate goal, playing football during my college years.

I bring high potential as an athlete, as a student, and as a leader with a strong desire to win. For the team that chooses me, I will give them everything I have both on the field and in the classroom. I am open to playing at any school that challenges me both academically and athletically. With my wonderful support system of God, Family, and Team, I know I will be a success.
