Personal Statement
I plan on attending a college university to obtain my PhD in Sport's Medicine. I hope to one day come back to my small town of Grundy County and start up a hospital. I want to be able to give back to the sports teams at my high school and give to the education system in my county so they can help better the students and athletes in my town so it will be possible for them to go on to a higher level easier than it will be for me.
What sets me aside from other recruits is my academic background and my versatility. I have attended Governor's School for the Sciences and Engineering at the University of Knoxville. I have also been taking college classes since my sophomore year at my high school. My senior year will be considered a student at Motlow Community College where I will be attending half the day before returning to my high school. I have been certified as a gifted student since the second grade. All these things will reassure a coach and school that academics will not be a problem and also shows that I my priorities are in school as well as football. The biggest thing that sets me aside on the field is my extreme versiatillity. My freshmen year I played receiver and defensive back. Then my sophomore year I went to starting quarterback and linebacker. Then my junior year I moved to tight end and linebacker/defensive tackle where I started in all. Now with my senior year upon me I have once again been moved left guard and nose guard. I have also returned punts and kicks. It is obvious that I can play any position you put me at in the high school level. The next thing that sets me apart is my great leadership. Since my sophomore year I have been the team captain. I have always been able to keep my team under control in any situation. I am also a firm believer of being respectful to not only my coaches and teammates , but as well as the others team's coaches and players and even the referees. I also believe in being the hardest working player around. I may not be the best player on the field, but I can guarantee that I will work harder than anyone else and do whatever it takes for my team to win. Whether that be filling up the water or scoring a touchdown or making a tackle I will always do what the team needs me to do.
What makes me the perfect candidate for any team is that whether it be on the field or in the classroom I will be giving it my all and being the best I can be.
