Brody Gregory '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brody Reed Gregory. I will turn 16 on Dec. 8, 2014 and I am a Sophomore at Hixson High School in Hixson, Tn. (just north of Chattanooga). I play Right Tackle on the offensive line and Nose Guard on the defensive line and I am a starter on both. I am also the Varsity Starting Heavy Weight (285) Wrestler at Hixson High School.

During the 2013-2014 football season I started over half of the Varsity games as a Freshman at Left Guard. Our team won the District 6A Championship in 2013 and again this year in 2014. In 2014 I was selected Lineman of the Year for District 6A and All-State in Tennessee. I graded out at over 90% in 2014 and averaged 7 "pancakes" per game.

Also during the 2013-2014 Wrestling season I placed 3rd in Tennessee in the Heavyweight Division and 2nd Nationally for Freshman Heavyweight while wrestling for Hixson High School. Hixson High School Wrestling won the Tennessee High School Traditional Wrestling team Championship.

My ultimate goal is to play Football for a school that is the best "fit" for my future. Obviously I have aspirations to play Professional Football. However, I am realistic about the chances of making it to that level considering the talent available across the country. I am interested in many possible careers at this point including medicine, engineering, veterinary medicine and business/finance among others.

I feel that my accomplishments in Football and Wrestling to this point make me a good candidate for college and university football programs. I am dedicated to improving my level of play and athletic ability through hard work. I am surrounded with exceptional football AND wrestling coaches and supportive family.
