Aledo HS Head Football Coach, Steve Wood says:
"I am writing this in reference to Will Trawick, our middle linebacker at Aledo High School. Will not only is a great player, but one of the finest young men I have had the privilege to coach in my 35 years. Will is one of those exceptional young men that has a desire to excel in everything he does. I will start with his character which to me truly defines a man. Will has the respect of everyone in our program because his attitude toward life. This young man gives his best at everything he does each day, and does it with a smile on his face, his work ethic is second to none. Will leads our defense by being our signal caller and making adjustments and checks. He is a true student of the game. Will has the size, strength, speed, and ability that it takes to play at the D 1 level . I believe that Will is set to have a break out senior year. It is an honor to coach Will Trawick and I can assure you that he will be a huge asset to any team, school, or any other organization he is ever involved with."
Aledo HS Football Coach, Billy Mathis says:
"Will is the emotional and physical leader of our defense. His love of the game is reflected in his dedication to his team and all his hard work. His work ethic during the off season is impeccable. His film study and practice habits are as good as I have ever been around. He wants to know his opponent inside and out. On the game field, he is a sideline to sideline player. His size and strength allow him to take on and defeat blocks on the inside, and his speed allows him to be a force on the outside. Playing middle linebacker for us is a very demanding job mentally and physically. He calls the defense on the field and can make the correct checks at the line. He is a relentless competitor and an outstanding teammate. His personality is infectious, and people just want to be around him at all times. Will is a young man of great character and a servant leader. I am excited to see the great things that he is going to do this upcoming season."
