Personal Statement
My primary goals for college are to receive the best education possible and to punt/kick for a great football program. I am fortunate to be at Westlake which has one of the highest standards for both academics and athletics in Texas. I've worked to maintain an A average while taking 18 AP/PreAP courses (so far) and playing 4 sports (football, lacrosse, tennis and track).
I've made kicking my top priority in sports. My kicking strengths are consistency and accuracy. I won the Texas A&M punt competition on June 6, 2016 in a tie-breaker against the #2 ranked kicker in the country. I also won two competitions I attended last Fall with 56 and 55 yard field goals.
Outside of academics and sports, my main job to earn gas/spending money is working as a referee for Central Texas Youth Lacrosse. I interned for political campaigns the last two summers. Last Fall, I completed a mentorship at the Office of the Texas Governor and this past Spring my mentorship was with a financial investment company.
I'm founder and president of BAM!, a charity group that includes 35 of my friends and has provided over 1000 community service hours to our community.
