Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations include majoring in Sports Medicine or Kinesiology. The drive to pursue these two fields of medicine began at a young age with a strong desire to help others. I believe that I will be an asset to any team that recruits me because I am hard working, determined and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. One attribute that will truly separate me from other recruits is the ability to maintain my grades and best represent my university. Throughout high school I have taken AP classes; I am currently enrolled in Austin Community College dual credit courses and plan to graduate with a full semester already completed.
I work to be a leader on and off the field. Since primary school, teachers began seeing leadership qualities in me and, in turn, placed me in leadership roles on and off the field. As a sophomore, I was placed in the leadership position of starting varsity MLB, rose to the challenge and was fortunate to have my hard work acknowledged as the "Newcomer of the Year" in our district. I'm proud to say that I just finished up my junior season as the leading tackler (82) on our team and was awarded 1st Team All-District Inside LB.
