Kellen Everett '18 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, I know that it all starts in the class room. I've been told all my life that education comes first, then sports. I can and will guarantee 100% effort in the class room and on the gridiron. I plan to become a lawyer and later  a sports agent. My dream would be to play football at the next level after college. Leadership is a huge deal to me and it's something that has to be earned. It is a big accomplishment to become the leader of the team and take it where it needs to be. "Practice like you play"- this is something I've been taught all my life and I truly believe. The harder a person practices, the better they will perform in a game. Another important aspect to me is the weight room. Consistent work in the weight room is the basis to everything you put out on the field. Not just hitting the weights once or twice a month but four to five times a week. The best thing I can offer any program is loyalty and dedication. Win or lose I will always stay loyal to the team and the coaching staff. To me, dedication is being willing to work hard and get better every chance you get. That's my goal in all I do.
