Personal Statement

Loyalty, Persistence, and Diligent. These are the words that best describe who and what I am.

Loyalty- I stick to those that I care for and will not leave their side.  I stand for my family, beliefs, school, and my team, no matter the circumstance. I am not one to bring someone down so that I can go up.

Persistence- I set a goal and go for it. I will do everything in my power to achieve this goal. The best quote that describes this trait is: "The real glory is being knocked down to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory." - Vince Lombardi

Diligent- I know I'm not the strongest, fastest, or the smartest one on the field or classroom but I am the hardest working. I strive to show what I am made of and I leave it all on the field and in the classroom.

I am a student-athlete. Student comes first. It has always been like that and it will forever be like that.  I work hard in the class room and strive for above and beyond.  Just because athletics isn't my first priority in my education career, it doesn't mean that it isn't important to me.  I never miss a game and I'm always in practice.  I work hard and play harder. If I have to play every down for 4 quarters or more, which I have, then I won't take a play off.

These characteristics set me apart from those who are just in the sport for the publicity. I play to help build my character and to represent my family and school. I challenge myself to beat the person in front of me and to see who wants to be victorious and who has the most willingness to win.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
