Dear Prospective Coaches,
Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to stop by my page. Let me take a minute to tell you a little about myself. My name is Tyler Knoop, I live in Keller, Texas. I am part of the Class of 2019, currently Entering into my senior year. I attend Fort Worth Christian in North Richland Hills, Texas.
Growing up in Texas has played a major in role in my athletic life. Football in Texas is compared to religion by many. Friday night lights, family tailgating and the sound of fans cheering instantly brought passion for football into my blood. I started playing flag football at age 6 realizing my dream instantly. My dream of playing football at a collegiate level.
Playing football has allowed me to find my passion young in life. Football has taught me patience, persistence, ambition, discipline, how to follow (before you can lead, you have to follow), how to lead others and most of all how to be a team player who truly supports every member of my team. I have learned how to be selfless, always have character and inspire others around me. Years of practicing daily has taught me the true value of practice, which I incorporate into my daily life.
Practicing football daily showed me to get what I want I have to be willing to practice to truly achieve by goals. I use this theory with my grades also. I currently hold a 3.75 GPA and I am striving to bring my GPA higher. I study everyday to allow myself the advantage of knowledge. I would love to attend a college with an exceptional education system along with a great athletic program. I would love a college where I can learn from others and make an impact in other lives.
My current short term goals are to get bigger, faster, and stronger. To accomplish these goals I have dedicated my summer to achieving them. I am surrounding myself with people of extreme knowledge to help me become a better athlete.
In closing, I would love to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. I would love to have a conversation with you to see if I would be a match for your school. Last of all, I wanted to thank God and my parents for allowing me all the opportunities they have provided, all their support and unconditional love. Once again, thank you for taking a look at my page. Please view my video and I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
Tyler Knoop
