Personal Statement
I started playing football when I was 7 years old. I have grown very passionate about the game over the years and thoroughly enjoy playing. I have learned useful life skills such as commitment, teamwork and leadership. Being one of the few senior starters on an underclassman dominant team helped me grow as a leader and has taught me how to work with all types of people and situations. In my junior year, I played varsity but due to having a senior heavy team, I requested to be moved to JV for the experience and play time. During my high school football career we played in some of the toughest districts in Texas which matched me up against multiple college bound athletes, making me more competitive and helping me grow as a football player. I enjoyed being around my teammates, while we helped each other improve and win as a team.
I am open to going to any college with a strong football program and solid academic program. I plan to study Criminal Justice in college because of my desire to help others and serve the public. My goal is to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree and ultimately obtain a Master's Degree.
