Juan Licea Jr. '18 Recruiting Profile

First of all Grades are first and sports are second. Without grades I cannot play. If I didn't have great grades I'd be in regular classes struggling to get a 70, but I don't. I push my self to be in honors classes and make all A's and a B+. I am a great College candidate because they will not have to worry about me slacking with my education. My goals are to make myself and others around me better than we already are.  Athletic-wise, I want to push myself beyond anyone around me. I don't want to be okay with average.  All I ever knew was that i never wanted to be average. I am different then everyone else at heart. I will not give up. In order to put me down you will have to kill me. I don't give an inch no matter the obsticle. Academically I may not be the smartest person in the world, but because of athletics I do everything i can to get my grades as high as possible. My character is different from everyone, I bet. I am a person that has all the combined attitude elements. I feel emotion, i have controlled aggresion, and most of all I have Strength and Honor. I am a warrior, a proud warrior. And what does a warrior do? They fight. I fight everyday of my life as if it's my last day on Earth,  Academically, athleticly, in life, and anything in between. And there's a special person by my side, the Lord himself. He wakes me up every morning and lets me go to sleep everynight with no worries. I have the best motivation, my family. They raised me from the first second i was in this world. They kept me on a great path. I dont drink, I dont smoke, and most of all, I dont do drugs like some of the other kids my age, or two or three years around my age. Most kids have potential, but peer pressure kills what skill they have. I choose to do what will help me make myself better and what will keep me on the right path that has a future for me. There is no easy path. Nothing has been given to me, I had to earn it. If you put obstacles in my way I will go through them, not around them.
