Thank you in advance for taking the time to review my profile. I'm blessed to have the love and support of my parents during my journey. In fact, my passion for sports began with my dad. He received a full scholarship and played football at Tulane University. From an early age (7), frequently throwing the ball in the front yard and having him coach my team was a common occurrence. When not on the field, we would spend hours watching games (NCAA/NFL) on tv discussing the teams, players, and strategies. I have become a student of the game and find myself beginning to dream of the day I would earn the opportunity to be a great college player.
My parents have also instilled in me the importance of education. My dad always talks about how his degree has given him the opportunity to be successful and how choosing the right school will open doors. Earning my degree is at the top of my list. My parents have made and continue to make sacrifices for me to attend a Christian private high school which leads me to my faith. My mom has inspired my spiritual belief. I'm truly thankful for all that God has given me.
Between my 8th and 9th grade, I was selected to a select club level traveling team. I began focusing more on my skills and started strength training. I earned the starting positions as a wide receiver and free safety on varsity during my Freshman year. My love for "Friday Night Lights" grows with each practice and training session. I spent this offseason running track, training on the weekends and playing 7on7.
I've set my goals high and have the desire and drive to achieve them. I believe that I would be a great addition to your team and ambassador of your University. I have become a leader on my team due to my work ethic and my willingness to assist my teammates in their success. My coaches praise me for my ability to listen and to be coached. I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about your program. Have a Blessed Day.
