Personal Statement
I am a JUCO player at Arkansas Baptist College I graduate in December and I know what coaches expect out of Juco players. What makes me a good candidate is that I have a strong passion for the game and I see myself as a team player & a leader as well. Whether I am a scholarship guy or a non scholarship guy I am still going to give the team my 110% dedication & hard work and also I lead by example on and off the field. You can count on me to convert on 3th or 4th down or whether its' something off the field like community service. What makes me different from others in my character is my personality, I would say I have a great personality because I'm easy to get to know, I've always been well liked wherever I go. I have a good sense of humor and don't take things too seriously. I'm mentality strong also, I can over come adversity when it approaches me and on top of that I know how to keep my composure on and off the field. My discipline plays a big part in my character because I'm rarely in trouble. I'm not a saint but I'm also not a bad person. I don't get into anything that I know I can't get myself out of and on top of that I was raised by my mother and she raised me right. I am a coachable player, I'm humble I love to learn about the game meaning my position and other positions too. I love to compete but I'm competitive with myself as much or more than with others. I don't need anyone to tell me to work on my craft because I practice things on my own. I don't get hung up on doing things the way I always have, I look forward to change. I am a risk taker a very big one. I respect coaches, teammates, and opponents because at the end of the day it's just a game. I love practice, I just work hard at practice like it's a game to practice my game speed so it'll come easily game day. I am a football and when I say that I mean I'm tough I can tackle I can play all skill positions but my primary position is WIDE RECEIVER x y z and on special teams I am the returner for kick/punt return. This is my life and I messed up in the past and I'm suffering now. I learned my lesson and that is you can be the greatest player alive but without grades nobody would want you. I've worked on my grades and now I'm ready to take my talents further. I see myself as a playmaker and I know how much talent I have and I haven't reached my full potential yet. I just want to make my mother and grandmother proud and one day they can see me play on Sundays. Thank you for your time.
