Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was nine years old. Since I was able to understand football, I have aspired to play at the highest possible level. I know that being able to play this sport is a blessing and a gift, and if I achieve everything this sport has to offer it would be life changing.
I am always working to improve my skills, and training to be better than the competition. I am a natural leader and willing to step up when the need arises. I am very coachable and take everything the coaches say to heart. Through my hard work and perseverance, I have earned an invitation to Football University’s National Top Gun camp as an offensive lineman four straight years 2014-2017. I have attended multiple football camps and training camps through FBU and the University of Texas. Using my dedication and perseverance, I have achieved the honorable rank of second degree black belt in taekwondo awarded through the American Martial Arts Institute. I am a certified scuba diver and other hobbies include music and learning guitar.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I look forward to earning a Bachelor’s degree in business or science and perhaps attend graduate school. I help support my parent’s charitable efforts and volunteer through school related functions.
I want to attend a university that challenges me on the field and in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition. I hope to make my parents and my school proud of my efforts and the person I am working to become.
