Dirk Gerhardt '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dirk Gerhardt, I'm a senior Kicker at McGregor high school. I weigh 165lbs, I'm 5'10, run a 4.6 40 yrd dash and have a 22 inch vertical. I was named 1st team all state kicker and academic all state in 2008 and 2009, also 1st team all district kicker and academic all district in 2007, 2008, and 2009. I've been awarded the high school's academic excellence award for two years in a row and all of these acomplishments are something I'm really proud of. I was one of the team captain for the bulldogs this year and it's hard to picture a kicker as one of your leaders, but my teammates believed in my leadership and looked at me as someone to follow because they understood that I wasn't all about me, I was all about the team and what was best for it. I would go to school anywhere, It really doesn't matter what size or where the school location is. All I want to do is be able get a good education and play some football while I'm at it. I probably have to get some financial help to be able to pay for college and get an education. I believe my parents are going to make an effort to help me pay for my education too. I would like to study computer engineering or computer science. I'm also interested in business admin/management and accounting. My goal is to go to college get an education and, since I'm a great kicker, use football to help me pay for it.
