Personal Statement
I am a Junior from McKinney, Texas, with a 3.6 GPA. I am 6’1”, 195 lbs. My 40 yard dash time is 5 seconds. I attend a small private school called Cornerstone Christian Academy, where I have been enrolled since my freshman year in high school. In our league, we play 6-man football, but I have played 11-man football from childhood through junior high. I have had the privilege of playing at the varsity level since my sophomore year. Although my first love is wide receiver, I made 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-State at the quarterback position in 2014-2015 season. My ultimate goal has always been to play at the college level.
I am looking for a college with a strong competitive business program, and an athletic program where I can make an impact. I am open to opportunities at any size school, and in any geographic reason. I am intensely focused on becoming the best athlete I can be. If it means spending an extra hour at the gym, or an extra hour of homework after the gym, then that’s what I do. I am known for my flexibility; even if I’m asked to play an unfamiliar position, I am willing and able to learn the necessary skills, and step into that role for the sake of my team. I am hoping to find a program with like-minded players.
