Phillip Jones Jr '17 Recruiting Profile

Whenever I am asked to speak about myself, it is always awkward,  I never want to come across as overly confident. No matter what I do, the values and morals that have been instilled in me, will always keep me humble.  My name is Phillip Z. Jones, and I am a junior at Nacogdoches High School in Texas.  I remember playing football when I was a little boy with my dad.  I am a diverse athlete, football has been the sport that I have enjoyed the most. I have dreamed of playing football at a division one college.  However, I will be honored to play football at any college, in any state and in any division.

My first football team memory was when I played for the Boys & Girls Club of Nacogdoches at the age of 9, which was really awesome, because my dad was my coach. He and my mom have always taught me that football is not an individual sport but, a team sport. My dream is to continue to play football, as I strive to maintain a high GPA as well as a good relationship with my teammates, coaches, and teachers. My goal is to be the best that I can be in whatever I strive to do.
