Ferdinand "CeeJay" Chima '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  My name is Ferdinand Chima.  However, most people call me CeeJay.  I am passionate about God, Family, Football and College.  I am very active in my church and community.  I have participated in outreach, youth ministries and other community based volunteer work.  I have several accolades and accomplishments in writing "Spoken Word" and have placed on a national level.  It is my dream to be a youth pastor or mentor to young people in a community where hope has been deferred.  

I have been playing football since I was 5 years old.  This has been my place of escape, family and showcase of my gifts and talents.  I am a good candidate and would be an asset to any team because of my ability to inspire and motivate my team to visualize the wins...and lead with an "all in" attitude and with action.   I love to win on and off the field and I believe this is only possible if your heart and mind are one.  I am different from other athletes because I am well rounded in my interest, engagements and relationships...because I choose the road that is less traveled to reach my goals and make my mom, family- God proud!  (and of course, team)!
