My name is David John Medrano. I am a long snapper from San Antonio TX and I play for the Robert E. Lee HS Volunteers. Every since I can remember, I have always loved the sport of football. But I always thought that I would have to dread senior year, because of having to leave football. I've always known I didn't have the size to be an offensive lineman in college, because that has always been my position. I've never had the strength, speed, or skill to be any other position. Being a long snapper gives me a chance to live out my dreams and make my family and friends proud of me. My family lives on low income. We have always struggled and haven't been able to pay for my siblings' education. It would mean the world and more to be able to receive a scholarship and give back to my parents for all that they have done for me. I want to play for you because I know I can be an asset to your team. I will never let you down and will always continue to surprise you. I am a natural leader and can be responsible as your long snapper. I have always excelled at school as well. I've always gotten good grades, since grade school. I am in the Gifted and Talented program and have been since 2nd grade. I am not like other recruits for so many reasons and these were just a few. I promise you that I am a very good snapper and I strongly believe that you will not regret deciding to give me a chance. Thank you
