Personal Statement
Hello Coaches
My name is Quillan Brown
I have been playing football since I was nine years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play and I want to show my friends and family that there time that they envested in me was not wasted and that I am college football material. I have always been one of those athletes drive on and off the field to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. I am good with criticism, that just motivates me and give me something to work on I'm one of those players that don't expect a compliment from my coach I would rather my coach tell me what I did wrong so I can get better than to have a coach telling me i'm perfect. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and my siblings and make my parents and coaches proud.
Currently am in the Texas National Guard and doing reserve and I also play corner/ defensive back. My shuttle is around a 3.7 on average, my 40dy is 4.46. I volunteer and help out at the Soup kitchen and the Houston food bank when i'm not at drill or working and try to give back to my community. And I just recently started trying to collect hours for NAACP and branch myself out further so I can be set for my future. I am a very hard working and dedicated student athlete and would love to play this game in college.
